Bridge Course
This course was started to bridge the
knowledge gap between agriculture and
non-agriculture graduates. Spread over
the first trimester, it enables students
from var ied backgrounds to get
familiarized with the agriculture sector to
move ahead with ABM without any
glitches.
Summer Internship
The fourth trimester during the first year,
consisting of 8-10 weeks, is fully devoted
to industrial exposure into various
companies. Students get a chance to have
a closer look at the functional agri-
business practices and applications. It
also helps students to acclimatize with
the practical working conditions. This
tenure helps them not only to understand
the business scenario but also in making
carr ier choices. Simi larly, many
companies view the process as a platform
for pre-recruitment. Our students have
been awarded with Pre-Placement Offers
from reputed organizations, being
impressedwith their efficiency.
A fortnight spent in the rural areas among the
rustic environment and rural folks helps the
students grab ideal agro-economic scenario
at a very basic level. This program provides
the students an opportunity to understand the
constraints faced by the farmers as well as the
potent ial areas for development in
agriculture. At the end of the study visit a
report is made analyzing and identifying the
bottlenecks of development and opportunities
for growth.
Unique Features
Induction Programme
MANAGE has started a Special Introductory
Course to familiarize the newly entered
graduates to the intricacies of a management
course. This course includes introductory
classes on Business Mathematics, MS Excel
andBusiness Communication.
Students are given opportunity to gain
corporate exposure based on their area of
interest. ITC-ABD, Bayer Crop Sciences, PI
industries, NCDEX, SAB Miller, Kemin
Industries, are the companies who offer
projects.
